Looking at the media you see mostly see slender body types represented, or in recent years, curvy and plus size. We’ve heard of hourglass and pear shaped body types, however there are actually many more body types. When you pick up a magazine, you see glossy, ‘perfect’ looking women who don’t seem to have a bump or flaw.
In reality, we know these images are heavily photoshopped, which doesn’t help set the best standards for beauty and health. We look at the main body types on real women and see what makes each one of them special and unique.
