Golden Globes Awards 2017
With the recent Golden Globe Awards we saw many fashion statements being made. Take a look at the few dresses on the Red Carpet. Do you hold the same opinion as we do?
Jesscia Biel takes the plunge in this gown. The bold black and white graphic design stand out. Moreover, the 3D floral appliqué patterns are a style statement. This Ellie Saab gown, even though simple is a striking one on the Red Carpet. Jessica Biel adds to the elegance with minimal accessories and lets her style do the talking. An instant thumbs up for this one!
Trace Lysette has raised the standards of trans actors in this ethereal green dress. Simplistic with sequins, the dress speaks for itself. The neckline is different and does not give too much away. The cut is unique and compliments the actress. However, the hairdo could have been made better with a different style. Overall, the actress has pulled it off well.
Yellow is the new black after Emily Ratajkowski wore this Reema Acra dress to the Golden Globes Awards. We love the way the actress has maintained simplicity with this dress. The silver embellishments with the plunging neckline are a little confusing. Is it a tie or a necklace? Emily has carried this yellow colour with perfect elegance on the Red Carpet.
The gorgeous Lily Collins wears a pink Zuahir Murad gown on the Red Carpet. Her bold red lipstick looks stunning. However, the dress was quite a disappointment. The embroidery looks beautiful, but the style of the gown looks Victorian rather than modern. A much more sleek cut would have complimented Lily better especially with that hair and lip colour.
Olivia Culpo took a brave step in pulling off this Zuhair Murad gown. The colours are vibrant and make the gown stand out at the awards. Even though filled with colours and various patterns, this dress looks ethereal paired with a black clutch. The criss-cross neckline perfectly compliments the actress. Simple earrings and a plain bun put the dress in the limelight, and we totally love it.
Learn to keep it simple from Teresa Palmer. A black velvet dress from Armani Prive without any embellishment has stolen our hearts. The cap sleeves and mermaid style with a plunging back are quite a statement. Carried with a silver clutch and studs in the ears, this style is simple yet bold. We love the hairstyle. However, the lip colour could have been turned up a notch. A brighter shade would have added to the effortless look pulled off by this Australian actress.
